Set Up a Consult
We love our cats.  Humans and Felines go way back in history and it shows.  What's more soothing than a cat's purr?  How can you resist the affectionate rub of a feline cheek against your leg?  In fact, cats have recently replaced dogs as the most popular pet in America.  Yet to most human beings, cats appear so mysterious and aloof.  It seems hard to know what they're thinking and why they do the things they do.
Learn about how cats think
As our feline friends have transitioned with us to suburban and urban lifestyles, new problems have cropped up, threatening the great relationship between cats and humans.  Every year, far too many cats and kittens are given away, turned out of their homes, subjected to painful and unnecessary amputations, or simply "euthanized" for engaging in natural but unwanted behaviors like scratching furniture or urinating outside of the litter box.  Desperate owners try various remedies and usually believe they've done all they can.  But they haven't!  Consulting an experienced behavior expert is the best way to not only address unwanted behaviors, but also to prevent these problems from developing in the first place.

Feline Behavior Consult
Picture
Whether you have a cat that won't use the litter box or a feisty feline that's made your furniture into a scratching post, Dan will work with you one-on-one to address the issue.  A consult with Dan can be conducted in person at your home or remotely by video chat, by phone or by email.  In addition to being super convenient and COVID-proof, remote options are also great with anxious cats or if you live too far away from Dan to make an in-person session reasonable.

The initial session is $145 and can take from one to two hours.  There will be a written behavior plan provided a few days after your appointment.  For each additional cat involved, add $50 to the price of the initial consult.  Follow-up live sessions are $85 (there is a $20 additional charge for each additional cat). Normal follow up (not live) is typically conducted by text or email and does not cost anything extra for 6 months after your most recent live session.
